Good affordable links course not the most challenging but still good fun. Seems to be kept in good condition lately when you compare it to the other council course. I have played this course alot over the past few years and it seems they have invested some money lately to improve the drainage issues.
Very popular golf course, for golfers and for walkers with and without dogs who cross the fairways and roughs to access the beach. The course is fairly level with plenty of hazards by way of bunkers and many areas of gorse bushes. During the winter months and at times of heavy rain some of the fairways are prone to flooding. There is a neighbouring golf shop and driving range.

Awesome course and superb treatment by the club. Could not be happier. A very enjoyable experience
What a course, probably one of best, hardest tests of golf I've ever had...a great experience.

Good club friendly staff
If I'm going somewhere before a match at Pittodrie then this is the place. Friendly atmosphere, well laid out and the prices are pretty good too.

Nuffield Gym Aberdeen, great gym, great grumpy staff!!!! Café ...no service!!! Thumb down.
Always very clean. Free parking and free towels. Plenty of choice in the gym and good variety of classes. Pool, sauna, steam room and Jacuzzi. Always a friendly welcome.

Great gym with room for improvement. Pros: -Broad range of good quality cardio, resistance training and other equipment -Lots of space for stretching -Open 24/7 -Nice staff -Well maintained -Plenty of cubicle showers -2 drinking water fountains -Great value -Comfortable temperature maintained within gym area -Box to provide feedback if you want to. I used it once to complain about shower mats that needed replaced and they were eventually replaced (not sure if it was because of me though). -Free classes (I have not used them though) Cons: -Half of the lockers are broken -Nothing supplied to wipe down equipment after use -Super annoying advertisements playing through the speakers every 10 minutes (it gets on your nerves if you're a regular) -The gym area has minimal natural lighting. The rest of the lights are dark and dingy. It's a bit of a mood dampener. -Bad hairdryers -Fixed temperature showers, so hot that it's damaging for skin. And super unpleasant after being hot and sweaty from workout. -Changing room temperature overly warm during summer especially. With some improvements it could be a budget 5 star gym for me.
Good gym nice layout out lots of weights and can use whenever i need and in this day n age that's a must

I've been a member of a few gyms up and down the country but this is the best one I've been a member of. There's a good balance of cardio to weight training equipment and in general it's great value for money. It can get very busy so you're better off avoiding peak times. Not worth the hassle then. Would it hurt to buy more kettlebells? The current ones are those big clunky ones. The more compact cast iron ones are far better. They're the only piece of equipment that the gym is lacking in.
Now my regular gym. Staff are great and there is a friendly atmosphere. However, it doesn't have all the facilities you'd expect of a gym this size (Rope, Hammer and tyres to name a few) and I don't think some of the machines are checked as regularly as they could be

I only came to watch a roller derby match but the centre seems clean with lots of facilities. I briefly spoke with the staff who were helpful and its nice inside as the place full of natural sunlight from all the windows. Only downside I noticed is that there isn't enough parking available.
Large swimming pool and good flumes which occasionally are not working. Fairly cheap to get in and there is a wave pool every little while and the river can come on.

Good place to watch amature football and other sports.
Fantastic modern changing facilities for the adjacent football pitches. Named in memory of a much respected stalwart of the local juvenile football association, ADJFA.

A nice friendly social club. Ideal for a function or for a drink in the bar. Pretty sure it's run by the local residents not sure what the rules are around membership
Nice venue for a private function. Has kitchen facilities and plenty of space for children.

I go here quite frequently. The English pool tables are very good. Snooker and American pool also available. They have 3 full size snooker tables, 6 American tables and I think 12 English pool tables. Good selection of drinks but not the cheapest. Staff are really good
Good place if you enjoy sports with a huge projection screen showing most events , lots of pool tables both American and British styles and snooker tables too! Small sports bar style menu with burgers and fries etc! And a bar with a small selection of beers and other alcoholic beverages! Not any disabled access until fortunately about fifty stairs to walk up before u get in the first floor and there are two floors!

In its day it would have been a great place. Now it's very tired and in need of a refurbishment.
Great value for functions and parties
